for Passionate Leaders
Six tasks for passionate leaders presents a leadership model that fosters relationships that lead to efficient and effective performances. The workshop takes participants on a journey of exploration. You are invited to make connections to your own lives. In the process, you will discover what it takes to be a passionate leader. Dramatic examples from the far north ( Yukon and Alaska ) punctuate the presentation. The Yukon Quest is an ongoing metaphor illustrating passionate leadership. In the workshop, we present a model for passionate leaders. The six tasks are like tumblers in a lock. Unless all six tumblers are aligned, the lock will not open. Unless all six tasks are in place, a person cannot passionately lead.
Task #1: Get a worthy quest. Task #2: Bring life to your values. Task #3: Get the right people in the right jobs. Task #4: Obtain permission to lead. Task #5: Develop an iron will. Task #6: Foster community support.
